Image sensor, which has expanded people’s scope of visual information that human being and machine cannot directly obtain by themselves, has been universally used in all kinds of fields, like medical, military, aeronautics and astronautics industry… However, the interactive between high energy particles and imaging semiconductor devices reduce the imaging quality and shorten service life of image sensor working in the circumstance of high-intensity irradiation, which decreases the efficiency of the image information use. Besides, Image fusion technology which can make full use of the multi-sensor redundancy information, improve the efficiency of the use of information, and overcome the defects of the single sensor, has become the key technology to solve some problems. In order to improve the information using efficiency of irradiated image, this paper provide a method of denoising the irradiation noise of image based on image fusion technology and redundant hardware structure of double image sensors.This paper firstly analyzes the properties and characteristics of image radiation noise by the means of literature research and sample experiment, and compares the irradiation noise with salt noise and Gaussian noise from the point of the factors of image noise generation. Furthermore, it analyzes the classic denoising methods of the two typical noise to examine the general method and the basic principle of image denoising problem; then presents a solution based on image fusion to denoising irradiation noise that on one hand, it verifies the validity of the solution by using MATLAB based on wavelet image fusion technology, and on the other hand, it improves the output of solution by using Sobel operator detecting irradiation noise before fusion, which is supported by experimenting on irradiated image. Moreover, this paper explores the problem how parallax influence the accuracy of image registration which is the precondition of image fusion.The verification experiment results of this paper show our method works on image irradiation noise and has better denoising quality than some classic denoising algorithm. And the improvement solution with Sobel operator has better visual effect. The experiment to explore the image registration accuracy of double image sensors indicates our solution is practicable and effective. This paper shows that the method based on image fusion technology of double image sensors works on denoising image irradiation noise practicably and effectively.
