In recent years, the popularity of electronic devices and the development of related industries to wireless network field brought a lot of convenience for life. The demand for their location information increase dramatically, more and more mobile Internet companies and research institutions have started to do research on the function of location service and introduced positioning systems such as GPS, Google Map and so on. However, such systems can be applied only for positioning in outdoor environment, the positioning accuracy of indoor environment is low, and can’t meet the needs of indoor positioning. At this time, the increase in WIFI wireless network coverage of places within the city, provide the possibility to realize the indoor positioning.With the increasing popularity of indoor positioning technology, all fields have begun to put forward their own demand for positioning technology. Especially for the implementation of the positioning of the criminal investigation and other related fields particularly strict and out of the ordinary. In the aspect of criminal investigation, indoor positioning technology is mainly applied for criminals moving trajectory tracking in the airport, station and other indoor space. At present, although there have been a number of research institutions have developed a variety of indoor positioning system based on WIFI wireless network, of which the positioning methods, that are realized by the system positioning, are initiated by measuring target. Other people can not know the related position information in addition to the implementation of positioning themselves. It obviously can not meet the demand of the criminal investigation orientation. Therefore, in order to meet such demands, we will put forward a new algorithm which is called “The reverse algorithm of fingerprint recognition algorithm” in this paper. And complete the design of WIFI indoor location system based on this algorithm.Firstly, this paper studied and compared from two aspects of the current indoor positioning technology and positioning algorithm, which are more commonly used. And analysis the existing WIFI indoor positioning technology, to further illustrate the defects and problems of the existing method under the special needs in the field of criminal investigation. Then gave a detailed introduction of the whole implementation process of the related technology and algorithm that adopted to achieve the reverse algorithm of fingerprint recognition algorithm. And test the algorithm in a real environment. The experimental results show that under the premise of ensuring the accuracy, the algorithm can achieve the implementation of the positioning function and do not need to be authorized by the location of the target. The algorithm can well meet the needs of criminal investigation and so on demand for indoor positioning.At last, with the use of Web service platform, realized the design and construction of indoor positioning system that based on the reverse algorithm of fingerprint recognition algorithm. The system is based on Linux and Windows systems which are widely used. The positioning system includes three modules: the relevant data set, the calibration scene management and the mobile route display. The calibration scene management is divided into two modules, relevant data acquisition and calibration node management. The system meet the requirement such as the related device is easy to carry, easy to deploy in various environment, and fully applicable to the particular scene as criminal investigation positioning. The positioning mode, the implementation of the system can be used to posit the third party, can be used in customer data acquisition in large shopping malls shopping habits, the statistical distribution of passenger flow and so on. It has good application value in the field of indoor positioning.
