The enterprise logistics information management systems are facing with pressing demands with the increasing business volume and business complexity. How to use the new resources while preserving the value of original resources? How to improve the new software system development speed and quality? How to fully utilize the advantages of service-oriented architecture? How to strengthen the information management system with the help of the widely used WebService and smart client means? These are the major challenges confronting the information management systems. Ideal information system should be integrated with the characteristics of high compatibility, portability, user-friendly and high security. The prevalence of some of these problems in China’s logistics industry has prompted the author to address these issues and think about the reasonable solutions. Through literature research and repeatedly careful reading and thinking, the author decided to choose the SOA architecture to build the logistics system. This paper first introduces the research background, its significance and research value, as well as the current research status and the thesis outline; To highlight the reason for the choice of development tools in this paper, it then analyzes the technical characteristics of the SOA architecture and J2EE development framework; Then it studies the business model and does the process analysis of the chosen third-party logistics system in order to make clear the functional modules of the system. According to the SOA design business analysis and according to the actual demand, the set of a group of similar operation functions is defined as business services. Finally, for the purpose of the system implementation, the paper proposes the MVC design pattern construction method, and suggests a detailed implementation for each MVC module. By the implementation of four core functions, namely, order inquiries, inventory inquiries, basic data management and user rights management, the paper tries to achieve the realization of SOA systems. The aim is to complete the distribution of SOA systems and to test that the system designed could meet the functional and performance requests through the WebService analysis and research as well as combination of knowledge on XML Schema, service contract, WSDL, parameter description and service release.
