With the rapid development of the world’s communications, mobile communications technologies are changing from 3G to 4G, the bandwidth for mobile terminal will be significantly improved. Meanwhile emergence and development of smart mobile terminals can ever make the application run on a PC and can be installed into people’s phones, the PAD and other mobile devices, users can access network resources wherever needed.eMBMS(multimedia broadcast multicast service system) provides high-capacity service platform of live and on-demand for communications operators. Its high bandwidth LTE network can be used to establish a reliable channel video services between content providers and mobile terminals, to provide users with high-quality video services. This will be the mobile operators to bring new services breakthrough and profit growth.In this thesis, we carry out the performance test in the way of simulating peripheral network element for core nodes of eMBMS, BM-SC. The main work includes:1) Study and discuss the system architecture of eMBMS, and the function and role of the functional entities;2) Analysis of the business process of BM-SC, and the characteristic of the interface with the surrounding nodes. Detailed analysis for BM-SC important technologies such as SYNC protocol, FLUTE protocol, FEC protocol, lay the foundation for the theory test algorithm;3) Design of test solutions, definition of test scenarios, preparing test file on the basis of the findings. Design algorithm for critical test points, and according to algorithm to design and develop test tools;4) Carry out performance testing according to the test scenarios, to check whether test points reach the performance requirements. To analyze the problem, improve test tools, detailed test conditions when the case does not meet the performance requirements, at the end ultimately determine performance bottlenecks. Re-do the performance test after product modifications, until reach the performance requirements;...
