Air conditioning system is one of the energy consumption of equipment in textile mill. At present, the software about the air-conditioning design of textile have rare, so as to it brings a lot manual design work, a long cumbersome and a long time design to the designers. An accurate and reasonable air-conditioning design of textile can not only play a role in energy conservation and optimization, but also can improve the efficiency of designers. In the paper, taking into account the requirements of energy conservation and design efficiency, a module software of air-conditioning design in textile mill, which was based on the Java language, was proposed to development.In the status of air-conditioning design and the actual production in textile mill, a method named the object-oriented design was used for the analysis and design of textile air-conditioning systems based on the textile air conditioning design computing, software engineering and database technology. Systematically, discusses the analysis and design of textile air-conditioning design software. By taking use of the modeling tool named Rational Rose, drawing a static structure and dynamic behavior of the software under the theoretical guidance of UML modeling language. Java programming language and SQL Server 2005 were used as the back-end database to develop the software and to achieve the five goals:wet air calculations, load calculation, ventilation calculation, the water-chamber thermal calculation and air-conditioning design.In order to verify the accuracy, reliability and stability after the completion of the development of the software, an application example was conducted to perform the functions of the software. In addition, the interface of the software was simple, easy to operate for its modular of every parts and the interactive with the operators. The calculation of the entire process was fast, as a result, aided design replacing the manual design and improving the work efficiency.
