With the development of information and communication science and technology, wired and wireless networks has been integrated into people’s lives, Due to the popu-larity of the network, it shorten the distance between people, online video make people on the other side of the earth talk face to face. The level of hardware and software of all kinds of device has rapid changes along with the development of technology,such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, smart TVs.Interoperability between terminal equipment, resource sharing, data communica-tions facilitate people to use, meanwhile also improving the quality of people’s lives. P2P Group structure under Wi-Fi environment, in the wireless network environment, make communication more convenient between devices, provides a platform for infor-mation and communication between a device. In real life, people often transmit the integration of video, text, sound media namely, the main contents of data communi-cations is a multimedia file. Streaming technology for the transmission of multimedia files achieves to watch while downloading browsing mode, no need to completely down-loaded or transmitted complete multimedia files, just a few seconds or tens of seconds to wait for a very short time, receive multimedia after a number of data packets files, you can browse to want to decode multimedia content. Real-time streaming technology has become the main transmission technology of next generation networks.This paper firstly research the P2P Group under Wi-Fi environment, and analy-sis the transport method and feature of stream media, discuss the problem exists in real-time stream media transportation and the resolving methods, discuss the adaptive network transmission control strategy and mainly research the fully real-time sample stream media application, purposed the adaptive control strategy based the content importance and time importance, completed the adaptive transportation control strat-egy for stream media based on P2P, and realized real-time stream media transmission function in Android platform.The research work of this paper mainly includes four parts:1. Research the Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi P2P wireless network technology, research the archi-tecture of Wi-Fi and network topology, mainly focus on the Group Structure under Wi-Fi P2P and the process of P2P group formation.2. Research the stream media technology and real time stream media transportation technology, and discuss the adaptive control strategy in network transmission, anal-ysis the stream media system, the playback method of stream media and the problem of stream media transmission in network, mainly focus on the stream transmission method of stream media, the process of real-time stream media transportation, and dedicate to the problem of stream media transmission in network, discuss the con-gestion control mechanism and error control strategy, two main solve scheme.3. Implements the adaptive stream media transmission scheme under Wi-Fi P2P en-vironment, and realized the stream media adaptive transmission system on Hisense top box and tablet based on A31s processor, According to the demands, design the real-time stream media system scheme and system process, build the simulation platform.4. Dedicate to the problem of real-time stream media transmission under P2P Group, purpose the congestion control strategy based on content importance and apply to the encoder side of stream media system. In order to make the bit rate adaptive to the network bandwidth, purpose the a delay reduction strategy based on time importance and apply to the decoder side of stream media to reduce the time delay from point to point. Finally, through the test of experiment and test in practical, verify the feasibility of this scheme and realized the adaptive real time stream media transmission.In summary, this paper based on Wi-Fi P2P wireless networking technology and stream media transmission key technologies, especially on the basis of real-time adap-tive control mechanism, achieve real-time adaptive streaming media transmission on Android platform. The Paper purposes the congestion control mechanism based on the importance of content of stream media and a delay reduction mechanism is equally applicable to other real-time streaming media scene on the base of time importance, provided the experimental basis for further research.
