In recent years, with the rapid development of our economy, people’s living standards have improved, but with the economic development,the pollution situation of environment is not optimistic, especially the pollution of soil heavy metal. Heavy metals are not easy to degrade in the soil. For a long time, the excessive of heavy metal have accumulated. The most critical and most basic step is detecting the contents of heavy metal species for controlling heavy metal pollution. Heavy metal detecting instrument directly influences the performance of the detection accuracy of heavy metals and influence of pollution control policies and methods. At present,the heavy metal testing instruments are big and offline analyzer in the laboratory and the equipment is expensive.The instruments process testing, samples after the acquisition. It spends long time from the beginning to collect and the detection process need professionals,so restricting of the laboratory detecting instruments spread slowly.Because of large testing instrument is too big to work in the field, so in this paper researching based on embedded ARM and anodic stripping voltammetry principle of portable testing instrument of heavy metals. It can be achieved in the field operation and has a great significance for controlling the soil pollution.Researching content in this paper:1. Detection of heavy metals at home and abroad literature, fully understand the principe that detect heavy metals and the present situation of the current detection instrument. Use square wave anodic stripping voltammetry as the detection method in this paper, and design a portable detection instrument of detecting heavy metals.2. Hardware design includes: detecting circuit, control circuit, power circuit. Signal disposal circuit is the core of the detection circuit. Detected signal must be amplified. That is the mian function of signal disposal circuit. According to the principle of the SanDian electrode reaction, a voltage chip can control the precise reference power supply is needed in circuits; Control circuit sends electrical signal that is needed in detection circuit, collection the data processing, the processed data is displayed on the LCD, etc.3. Detection software mainly includes the design of the device initialization and square wave. According to the time that requirements of the detection circuit and time of interruption the parameter settings; Using the timer to form the square wave. Eventually write a driver can realize the detection of heavy metals4. Qt is the system software, select C++ language programming design. According to the processor sends datas, carries on the initial setup. Because the instrument is used by non-specialists, so choose to use a histogram of heavy metal elements, according to the type and content of inspection personnel can quickly understand the test results.Hardware design has been completed and can realize the test function; the software can realize the normal data show. Currently testing instrument can work in the field and be able to detect heavy metals such as lead, mercury, aluminum.
