Nowadays, The Internet with rapid development has become an indispensable tool that people use to get information and change ideas. And it has changed from the simple transmission medium into information carrier. Internet users of the world can make comment conveniently about various hot issues on the internet, even perhaps it will become one public opinion event. College students as an important part of Internet user group were also influenced by the network public opinion. However, the view of the world, life and value of college students is in the forming stage。They are very easy to become the object of lawless elements agitator. Therefore, public opinion monitoring system is very important for the University. Considering these aspects, the Center of Shandong University network propose to construct the public opinion analysis system of Shandong University.The public opinion analysis system of Shandong University obtains information about Shandong University and comment in the BBS as public opinion information through the Web crawler. Then, the system will do some processing such as Chinese word segmentation, information extraction, topic clustering, statistical analysis and so on. Finally, the results are presented in graphical and tabular display and will be the basis for management decisions. This paper provides a solution for the construction of public opinion analysis system in Colleges and universities.The paper mainly completed the following three aspects of work:1. This paper analyzes the construction method of public opinion analysis system of colleges and universities at home and abroad and provides the idea to construct the public opinion analysis of colleges and universities.2. This paper presents the demand analysis of public opinion analysis system of Shandong University and describes the system architecture and function modules.3. This paper introduces the concrete realization of the public opinion analysis system in detail, and lists the details of each function module.The public opinion analysis system of Shandong University has passed the system test and runs steadily on the server of the center of Shandong University network for a long time. The system can extract the subjects accurately and gives the results of data analysis and has a very friendly man-machine interactive performance.
