Design And Implementation Of A Network Public Opinion Monitoring And Analysis System

With the development of Internet technology, people become more and more convenient to express their opinion through social network, and the network public opinion become an important formation of society public opinion. While education plays a very important role in society and the public opinion of education has a great influence, so how to understand the public opinion of education becomes an urgent problem to solve. Presently, one of the most effective way to understand the public opinion is to detect thetopics in network and analyze the sentiment of the topics. This paper mainlydescribes how to detect thetopics and analyze their sentiment,and Design and Implementation of a Network Public Opinion Monitoring and Analysis System for Education Domain.At First, the paper mainly introduces the key problems of the system, and based on the analysis of technology, designs the methods of the key problems. The key problems include the Public Opinion Data acquisitionand dataanalysis ofpublic opinion. This paper designs a Web crawler to Obtain public opiniondata from multi-source web in real time. Besides, this paper researches the topic detection method based on LDA and implements the Gibbs LDA algorithm, which can find the relations between the texts and topics and extract the content in each topic. And this paper also studies the method of topic sentiment analysis based on the emotion words in active and positive, which can obtain the public altitude on a certain topic.Then, based on the research on the method of topic detection and topic sentiment analysis, this paper implements a System to monitor and analyze the Network Public Opinion of Education. There are four functions in the system, one is monitoring the data source that user specify in real-time, two is detecting the topics in the public opinion data and analyzing their emotional tendency. Three is showing the result to user with the method of visualization. With the system, the user can rapidly, conveniently and comprehensively understanding the public opinion and its emotion tendency in education domain.Finally, this paper introduces the test of the Network Public Opinion Monitoring and Analysis System. The function test and the performance test are two aspects of test.The function test shows that the system can work well, and the performance test shows that the system can work rapidly. Besides, this paper also tests the effectiveness of the methods in public opinion analysis, the test result Indicates that the methods of topicdetection and topic sentiment analysis is effective. The system can give users valuable analysis data.
