Shanghai Electrical Power Supply Company’s production project management system is an important part of the company’s overall informational management. It focuses on the company’s power supply operation related equipment renovation and inspection project management, and assisting some highly related capital assets and production material management functions.Power supply production has the features of large-scale, highly demand requirements in continuity and reliability and capital-intensive. Massive production project management plan information, status information, budget fund information, cost information and material information require more accurate combination to provide timely and exact business running data to decision makers, and support right decision for production resources and fund cost. Based on the above consideration, this system needs to achieve the following functions: productive renovation project management, productive inspection project management, productive capital assets and materials management, and internal cost control function for corresponding business information. The paper gives demand analysis to the above functions, and builds corresponding user cases. From the view of software design, it discusses the software’s general architecture, database design scenario, internal flow management scenario and main modules’design scenario, and sketches the system implementation based on Java and SQL Server.After testing and test trial adjustment, the system works stable now. It has user-friendly as well as complete functions and meets the company’s development requirements appropriately.
