3D modeling is a technology that widely used in today’s society from all walks of life and has great research value, with the rapid development of information processing technology, new equipment, visualization technology by leaps and bounds, 3D modeling method is also more and more. In terms of data acquisition, 3D laser scanning technology as a new measurement technique, with its advantage of fast, accurate and does not contact the object and gradually became dominant. For 3D laser scanning data modeling, TIN model is currently more in use, the method in the triangulation algorithm and data storage structure is relatively complex, and then affect the efficiency of subsequent texture mapping. With depth image model theory is put forward, it become the new favorite in the burgeoning three-dimensional modeling method which is simple data structure, realistic model, texture mapping accuracy advantages quickly, Particularly on the expression of form, not only can quickly set up the shape of the form and the expression of its surface structure accurately. But as a result of the model is constructed by using the theory of depth image method is novel, has yet to have a set of system, reliable and complete technological process and operation procedures, from data acquisition to guide people to complete the stage to the final color model in production. Therefore, this article relying on the Hou Mu Wu Cauldron depth image modeling data, put forward based on depth image 3D reconstruction process, strive to solve the key problems such as the point cloud segmentation, modeling geometry reconstruction and texture mapping.In geometric model reconstruction phase, this paper presents the technological process of geometric reconstruction, mainly including data acquisition, data segmentation, model reconstruction. Using handheld 3D laser scanner to obtain the point cloud,streamline and deal with the noise; Data segmentation of stepmother e ding, green cattle, buildings, based on a large number of experimental data, proposed the four cardinal principles such as the uniqueness of the datum, cannot be divided, single space geometry, and get point cloud subset for modeling; Through the segmentation of point cloud model to establish the depth image, analysis model of process problems, such as spike, reticulate, holes, cracks, convex hull.In texture reconstruction phase, texture reconstruction process presented in this paper, mainly including image data acquisition, image processing, texture reconstruction. Data acquisition using a digital camera and a summary of acquisition work; using Photoshop to cut the image, processe color, according to categorize the corresponding relationship between geometrical model structure; After image storage, manually select points with the same texture mapping; Finally, the depth image texture model and TIN model are compared and come to conclusion that the depth of the image texture mapping is faster, more detailed, more realistic and other advantages.Based on 3D laser scanning technology, the depth image modeling theory and texture mapping technology as the theoretical basis, using shang dynasty Hou Mu Wu Cauldron for the carrier, using portable 3D laser scanner and digital camera as data acquisition method, relying on "multi-source data fusion the fine 3D reconstruction system"(hereinafter referred to as the L&P3Dv1.0) software as a platform, in order to study the three dimensional modeling process design as the theme, discusses and optimize the process flow of each working procedure, Experiments prove that the process on the modeling speed and precisionis better than other modeling methods, for 3D modeling technology opened up an entirely new ideas, new methods. The creative achievements made in this paper for small and medium-sized entity modeling practical guiding significance to the production.
