Currently, the rapidly development of electronic and information technology has made great progress to the application of wireless sensor network technology. Wireless sensor network is a network infrastructure without data processing which could achieve autonomous data acquisition, and data transmission, the physical world and the world of information logically it objectively on together, greatly affecting the way of people’s production and life. The prospect of wireless sensor networks are increasingly broad, not only has been further developed and applied in the military field, and related to environmental monitoring, health care, animal tracking, space exploration, etc. Therefore, the research of this technology has both the theoretical significance and application value. However, the practical application of wireless sensor network location technology exists the non-line-of-sight(NLOS) error, high algorithm complexity as well as to inaccurate moving target positioning, etc. This article mainly studies the application of wireless sensor positioning technology in military training:1)This paper provides an overview of the current various positioning algorithms, analysis and compares the applicability of various kinds of algorithm. Then, we have conclusion that TDOA algorithm is optimized for this system. And then, this paper research Chan’s algorithm and Taylor series expansion algorithm which based on TDOA. We compare the two algorithms by simulation, have concluded that Chan’s algorithm is superior, when the TDOA error obey the ideal gaussian distribution.2)Proposed the Chan location algorithm based on the Centroid optimization the Multi-site coordination. This algorithm use the initial positioning and the collaborative multisite centroid correction of Chan algorithm. Through data fusion with TOA algorithm, effectively reducing the NOSL error. By means of simulation experiments comparing different channel environments and then analyzed similar localization algorithm that the algorithm performance, positioning accuracy and stability better than Chan algorithm and Talor-Chan algorithm.3)We design the real time location system(RTLS) hardware by NA5TR1 master chip and related development, and develop this RTLS system software based on nano Track V2.0 development kit and related software applications interface. Finally, we implement the real-time location system on the training ground, and test this system by configuring the software environment and the various parameters. We demonstrate the performance of the real-time location system can meet the needs, by comparing GPS map coordinates and measurement coordinates.
