As a new generation of fieldbus technology, KNX have many advantages,such as good interoperability and openness, perfect communication mechanism,multiple communication mediums are supported. Widespread application in the field of intelligent building is obtained.With the continuous development of building automation technology, the transfer of information between control equipment is increasing, the interoperability and interconnection is also put forward higher requirements. Based on the research of KNX communication kernel, a kind of gateway on the basis of KNX communication protocol is designed, which implements conversion of KNX protocol and TCP/IP protocol,implements KNX bus signals in the transmission of high-speed Ethernet. The expansion of the KNX system is no longer limited by transmission distance and the data transmission speed, and quantity of the transmission is no longer a problem of KNX system. Thus the KNX equipments’ interconnection between floors and buildings is accomplished, promoting the construction of buildings to direction of digital and intelligent, laying the foundation for building wisdom city.The main work is summarized as follows:(1) The working principle, technical characteristics and the communication protocol of the KNX bus technology, TCP/IP technology are analyzed. Through the comparison of different schemes, the system structure and the technical route are designed, the development of system hardware and software are completed finally.(2) KNX communication module is completed by taking ATMEGA32 as KNX control microcontroller, FZE1066 as KNX transceiver. Software part mainly includes driver design, system program design, and application design.And the design of KNX communication kernel on the hardware platform is implemented finally.(3) TCP/IP communication module is completed by taking microcontrollers STM32F103 RE which is based on Cortex-M3 architecture asthe control microcontroller. The hardware part is composed of power supply module, network module and interface module. The real-time operating systemμC/OS-II is took as the platform of software part, the transplantation ofμC/OS-II and Lw IP protocol stack are completed, the standard TCP/IP network interface is implemented.(4) The conversion of KNX protocol to TCP protocol is implemented.KNX module communicates with TCP/IP network module via serial port, and the information filtering functions of KNX- TCP/IP gateway is accomplished.(5) The communication protocol between gateway and the remote control center is implemented, and gateway parameter settings, filter table settings and remote management of KNX node equipment through IP network are realized.Test results show that the KNX-TCP/IP embedded gateway equipment operates stably and reliably, has strong extensibility. The protocol conversion of KNX and TCP/IP is realized. At the same time, the function of network and equipment management is accomplished, the setting of gateway parameters and the remote control of KNX subnet node equipments are implemented.
