The Design And Implementation Of Network Online Learning System

At present, with the popularity of the Internet and the development of distance education, learning on line--this networked learning style has been accepted by more and more masses of learners. Online learning system could provide personalized learning services which will directly affect the learners’ learning enthusiasm and initiative. The Web data mining technology is applied to the online learning system.We can develop to provide personalized learning services system which attracts more and more attention by industry experts and developers.Under the guidance of Web data mining technology and theory, comprehensive analysis of the user’s needs, this paper determines the overall structure of the system and the function of each module.And it puts forward the method of system design which is based on data mining. It also can realize many functions, such as online course, online testing, upload the homework, and resources search, browse and download, and posting messages, online discussion and other functions. The Web mining technology is applied to the system. By mining, the system can be grouped for learners, and provide personalized learning services, such as teaching resources automatically push etc. The mining algorithm using the K- means algorithm is based on the classification method.This algorithm has great advantage in clustering aspects. The Apriori association rules algorithm of basing the breadth-first has the very good effect for the trend prediction. Apriori is an algorithm of mining Boolean association rules and frequent itemsets that is based on probability.It uses the methods of step by step and hierarchical iterative to find out the relationship from the DB that is to be formed a rule. Thus the system can automatically push resources for learners. Using data mining tools of SQL Server 2005 providing to test system, the experiental results show that the system is effective.It can be realized clustering groups and pushing learning resources for learners and realize the goal of personalized design. This system is based on Microsoft’s operating system architecture of the system. The IIS6.0 is used as the Web Server, the foreground is developed by dynamic ASP.NET. C language as the programming language, the background DB Server is used to be SQL Server 2005 DBMS which can implement seamless link with the ASP.NET.
