With the rapid development of social economy, security monitoring issues of the infrastructures has become a research hotspot. Especially in recent years, due to the factors such as illegal construction, natural disasters and man-made destruction have frequently leaded to pipeline leakage, high tension line theft and illegal invasion events. Not only to cause the people and the country’s economic and property heavy loss, but also to bring people’s life security and the environment great threat. Therefore, in view of the above situation, timely detection and effective positioning has important research value and practical significance.This subject originates from the national 973 project of cooperation with Tianjin University-Basic Research of Key Technology of Intelligent Optical Fiber Sensor Network Experimental Platform and Its Application. And it focuses on the subproject Study on Adverse Environmental Effects on Polarization and Positioning of Continuously Distributed Sensor Networks. The paper aims at improving the positioning precision of the distributed optical fiber sensing network by means of Short-time energy, short-time average zero crossing rate and generalized cross-correlation to calculate the positioning data which is collecting by the distributed optical fiber sensing network. The accurate positioning of signals on the ground and underground is implemented, which improve the accuracy of the distributed optical fiber sensor network positioning system.This article main research content includes the following aspects. (1) Based on the understanding of the distributed optical fiber sensing network, the paper design double Mach-Zehnder interference ring distributed optical fiber sensor positioning system, and derive the formula for the location in the distributed optical fiber sensor network localization algorithm based on the principle of the Mach Zehnder interferometer. (2) According to the different of ground and underground data use different localization algorithm, to eliminate the influence of the external environment on optical fiber security system, the implementation the location of the deliberate destruction of human behavior, and improve the positioning precision of the continuous distributed optical fiber sensing network, field data which are collected by the Tianjin university verify the effectiveness of the algorithm. (3) The distributed optical fiber sensing network has been designed based on the NI Labview software platform, and completed to design and implement a data reading module, FIR digital band-pass filter module, algorithm module, the short-time zero crossing rate module, the short-time energy module and the generalized cross-correlation algorithm. Finally we established a set of continuous distributed optical fiber sensor security system based on the virtual instrument technology.
