In this digital era of information explosion, the amount of information in growth, geometric data stored locally on the computer system can’t satisfy the needs of a large number of information processing and the data security, a distributed storage way arises at the historic moment. This way to store important data backup into multiple copies, and will these copies distributed in network nodes, so that it can be one of the nodes in network server fails not work properly, use other nodes data counterpart to ensure the security of data.Based on the above background, the research data storage characteristics of the distributed storage system, including its system structure, element structure, communication paradigm, replica management strategy, communication, etc., summarized two major kinds of data replication model, active replication model and passive replication model, compares the similarities and differences between these two kinds of data replication methods. Also studied the common data consistency model, provides a solid theoretical foundation to the research of after. On the premise of theoretical research, this paper proposes a new copy and selection strategy based on timestamp to solve the copy of the consistency problem in distributed storage system, under this strategy, when a user to update data, system will be adopted according to the time stamp will be multiple copies of the latest grid areas inside and outside two ways to update a data copy operations, to ensure to read the data, get the latest data.The update operation of the system to copy the network structure and the status of the node communication, the influence of such complex situations will exist a certain delay, based on timestamp replication strategy can ensure the data in the system as consistent as possible, make users won’t read has been modified dirty data, improve the correctness of the system, so as to improve the system fault tolerance. This article USES the simulator OptorSim replication strategy put forward by the simulation test, can be seen from the statistical results of the experiment, down to 1500, the model of copy number less than 5000 positive copy model, write the probability of 0.6, the model less than 4000 milliseconds, total operation time positive model reflects a clear advantage.
