WirelessHART is a wireless sensor networking technology based on the Highway Addressable Remote Transducer Protocol; Developed as a multi-vendor, interoperable wireless standard, WirelessHART was defined for the requirements of process field device networks. The standard was initiated in early 2004 and was developed to provide a reliable, cost-effective, high-quality portfolio of core enabling system software for industrial wireless sensing applications.In September 2007, HCF(HART Foundation) released the first official version of WirelessHART Protocol. The protocol supports operation in the 2.4GHz ISM band using IEEE 802.15.4 standard radios. The underlying wireless technology is based on the work of Dust Networks’ TSMP technology. Because the WirelessHART protocol is the combination of the wireless communication technology and HART, it has quite a lot of advantages of HART. So it was closely watched by automation industry the moment it was released; and was recognized as the development standard of industrial control field.Smart dust is a scientific objective which was first put forward in 90’s of the last century in the United States. It aimed at developing an ultra-low-power subminiature network sensor to use at places which are difficult to detect in the future. Smart dust is one of the highest technologies in the future, it can build detection network anywhere in the world. It has many good characters, like low energy consumption, low bandwidth and can detect targets for a long time.This horizontal topic research is root in provincial innovative task : self-powered heavy machinery--- which is based on WirelessHART. The project requests the dust network which is based on the LTC5800 dust chip to upload sensor data safely and stably in real time. In this paper, we use smart dust DC9007 to realize such dust network. Dust net framework based on Wireless HART is realized by applied research. The design of Hardware circuit based on LTC5800 and complete the circuit network testing, realization of smart dust networks. The first time for network is less than one minute, insert slot synchronization in wireless networks, by synchronizing the wake-up mechanism to further reduce dust node power consumption.By repeatedly test different networking environments, such as Obstructions large indoor environment, permeability good outdoor environment, etc. Get any definitive conclusions: Single link initiated instantaneous current ≤20mA, During normal operation the average current <1mA; When a network signal strength is greater than-90 dBm, the transmission link is reliable and stable, data transmission integrity. Studies to determine the test and diagnostic methods mote network information quality, learn WirelessHART protocol command, write PC software.
