The Internet provides us efficient communication platform, which greatly facilitates the exchange of information for people. Wireless sensor network extends people’s ability of obtaining information, and connects the objective world and the network together, providing people the most direct, effective and real information. Industrial wireless network is developed by wireless sensor network, which has the advantages of low cost, strong anti-interference, low power consumption, strong flexibility and expansibility, becoming one of research hot spots. In the field of industrial wireless network, HART7.1, ISA100and WIA-PA in china are the common communication protocols. Wherein, the wirelessHART, which is developed by HART, has a very broad prospect in industrial control application, because of its safety and high reliability etc.Network manager, the ’center’ of the wirelessHART network, its reasonable design ensures the efficient operation of network. The routing algorithm and the communication resource scheduling strategy are two key technologies of network manager, which directly affect the performance of network. The paper mainly studies the network manager of wirelessHART and its two key technologies, the routing algorithm and the communication resource scheduling strategy. The major work of the paper is followed by:1) The paper detail introduced the basic task of the network management, and gives a designing frame for the implementation of the network manager. Every module in the frame is introduced in detail and implemented by C language.2) The paper gives a detailed analysis of the wirelessHART network and its features of routing. According to the characteristics of wirelessHART network, and as a practical matter, the double-tree topology is introduced into, and a routing algorithm is proposed based on the tree structure.3) The paper gives a detailed analysis of the wirelessHART network and its features of scheduling. According to the characteristics of wirelessHART network, and as a practical matter, a communication resource scheduling strategy is proposed based on the double-tree structure. In the strategy, the global network scheduling is not involved, which consequently reduces the complexity of the scheduling and the maintenance of communication resources.In addition, all are tested on the CC2430communication modules. The results show that the network manager can provide the basic functions for network initialization, node joining and leaving and others. It is also testified that the routing and scheduling algorithm achieve lower complexity but ensure high reliability.Sum up, as a practical matter, the paper proposes an implementation for network manager, and verifies the scheme integrating the theoretical analysis and experimental test. Thus the paper makes certain contributions for applications of wirelessHART and the development of wireless sensor network.
