In recent years, with the development of smart phones,3G network, Wi-Fi hotspots, mobile internet has become an essential part of the people’s daily lives. The developmentof mobile application became popular at the same time. And it is the increasinglycompetition that resulting in increasing demands to mobile applications by users. Inaddition to a good user experience and extensive use of function, mobile applications needto consider many other problems such as performance, application volume and loadingspeed because of the limitations of terminals and networks. How to choose a more suitableway for mobile application development has become the main derection of exploration. The design and implementation of a mobile application management system based onoffline application caches was study and completed in this background. The design of mobile applications is very different form the tradition applications. Ithas a lot of restrictions and can be divede into three types from the development approach. And the rise of HTML5provided more possibilities for mobile application development.Based on the traditional hybrid app, the offline web applications has been introduced, todesign the overall application architecture and enable the mobile applications to have thecapacity of storaging application framework and static resouces persistently. So theperformance will be improved and the network traffic will be saved. Many problems hadbeen solved in the implementation process. At last the architecture was proven effective onmobile application. The result shows that there are significantly improve on loading and rendering speedof the mobile applications based on the applicationcache. It is meaningful that explore thenew features of HTML5and use in the development of mobile applications.
