With the development of science and growth in the living standard of people, higherrequest was put forward for the detection of various of toxic and harmful gas, monitoring ofair pollution and industrial emissions and testing of food and people living environmentquality. As a result, higher request was put forward for the research of gas sensor. With thedevelopment of the internet of things, detection system will be based on the combinationwireless gas sensor with network technology to form a convenient, safe, accurate andremotely controllable intelligent network system in the future. This thesis has researched wireless carbon dioxide sensor based on thermopile principle.Wireless transmission module is NRF905, it transmits data of carbon dioxide concentrationto the receiver module. Master chip is C8051F021single chip processor. Detection modulemainly cansisits of power control circuit, filter amplifier circuit, AD converter section,LCD1602Display module, temperature and humidity sensors SHT10acquisition module, wireless transmitter module. Receiver module cansisits of wireless receiving module anddisplay module. The main work of this thesis is the detection module.Fitstly, this thesis introduces the significance of the research, then introduces thedevelopment of gas sensors in our country and foreign contury.Secondly, this thesisintroduces the types of gas sensors and their work principle, then compares the advantagesand disadvantages of several short-range wireless communications technology.Thirdly, thisthesis mainly discuss my own work.My own work consisits of the ideas of the overallmodule, ideas and analysis of designing circuit schematic and control program for everymodule. At last, this thesis introduces the idea of scaling in detail. It can reduce themeasurement error because of the changes of measurement environment through somevariable’s compensation. This thesis can provide some reference for others through thedescription of the circuit schematic, explain the control program and description of thescalcaling ideas.
