Population aging and chronic diseases are in rapid development period in China,establishing a set of limited medical resources saving and basic medical care familyhealth information system is alleviating medical treatment status that difficulty forseeing a doctor and high cost, realizing that everyone will have access to basicmedical and health care services at present.The health monitoring are mainly concentrated in the hospital medical treatmentresources for the chronic disease patients at present, the monitoring equipment areoften bulky, expensive and complex operation and do not suitable for household dailyhealth monitoring. With the wide use of the Android platform, embedded technology,sensor technology, the rapid development of mobile network communicationtechnology, a kind of a human domain composed of multiple wireless medical sensornetworks state-controlled (body sensor networks, BSN) for family elderly health careprovides effective solution.The family health monitoring system based on body sensor network is designedin this paper. The wearable low power consumption vital signs perception nodes isdesigned, it can be dynamically long-range real-time monitoring of human vital signs,transmit all kinds of vital signs monitoring data wirelessly to the user smartphone, thesmartphone also transmit vital signs data by3G mobile network doctor’s smartphone,and implement the remote medical for doctor and patient. The system is low cost,simple operation, convenient user in the environment that occupy the home use, and itdoes not affect the user normal life.This article mainly introduces the following three aspects:(1) The design of Vital signs nodes. It mainly include ECG node module, BloodOxygen node, heart sounds node and Blood Pressure node. Each node can realize thecollection of vital signs parameters and the transmission of the data.(2) The design of wireless sensor network. It mainly use the ZigBee wirelesscommunication protocol and bluetooth wireless transmission protocol implementationnetwork design of body sensor network. The network can implement multiple vitalsigns parameters to the Android smart phone terminal of wireless data transmission.(3)The Android smartphone application development. It mainly includes the vitalsigns parameters of human-computer interaction interface, vital signs parameters real-time display, data storage and playback browsing, vital signs parameters ofremote transmission etc.
