Fluorescent convert white light diode, due to its high efficiency, long life, low energyconsumption, environment friendly advantages, and is considered to be the next generation oflighting source. Phosphor powder is white LED fluorescent conversion of white light emission inthe central part. In the existing system of phosphors, there is lack of excellent red phosphors. And,it is also necessary to find better way preparing phosphors synthesis methods and synthesisconditions.This article is the introduction of the background of red phosphors, the current main syntheticmethods of phosphor, and different synthetic methods of preparing high quality red phosphors,LiLa3+(1-x)MgWO6: xEuproducts as the goal, our scientific research work mainly in the threeaspects:(1) based on the representative system of the complex perovskite oxide red phosphors:LiLa3+(1-x)MgWO6: xEuphosphors was successfully synthesized by solid state reaction method.,and the best doping amount was gotten by this method.(2) LiLa(1-x)MgWO6: xEu3+was successfully synthesized by sol-gel method., and we got thebest doping amount. By studying the performance of the phosphor powders under different alkalienvironments, we have discovered the optimal pH value. The affect on the micromor-phologiesand emitting performance of the phosphors in different alkaline environments have been studied.The sol-gel method has more superiorities than the solid preparation method.(3) LiLa3+(1-x)MgWO6: xEuwas successfully synthesized by hydrothermal synthesis method.The optimal doping concentration of Eu3+in LiLaMgWO6has been gotten. The changes of theLiLa3+(1-x)MgWO6: xEu’s microstructures have been obtained by changing the pH value, thereaction time, the reaction temperature, etc, and the optimum reaction conditions of thehydrothermal synthesis method have been found.Experimental results are investigated by XRD, SEM, and their fluorescence spectrum,quantum effects, morphology and performance are analyzed and studied.
