Register accuracy is one of the most important performance indexes to measure thequality of the printing product. In order to improve register accuracy of register system,this thesis studies the register control methods of electronic axis gravure press in lowspeed running process, acceleration process and high speed printing process.When running at low speed, feed forward decoupling PD control algorithm is used toeliminate the harmful effects that control volume of the previous printing units have on thesubsequent printing units and improve system response speed and register accuracy.Meanwhile, in order to ensure the effectiveness of the decoupling algorithm, the conceptof decoupling depth and the method of determining decoupling depth are proposed.Industrial example results show that the algorithm compared with the traditional simpledecoupling PD algorithm has more advantages. Then, this thesis analyzes thecharacteristics of register system in high speed printing process and the model predictivecontrol (MPC), and MPC is applied to the register control of electronic axes in high speedprinting process. The simulation results show that the MPC register controller can adapt toparameters changes and moderate control volume on the premise of ensuring the registerprecision meeting the technological requirements, and thus to minimize the impact on theequipment, prolong the life of equipment, and is of great significance to the actualproduction. Furthermore, acceleration process is essential for register system in thepractical industrial process. However, the traditional method is to use the PD control,which is proved poor control effect and large waste amount. In this thesis, the registererror caused by acceleration operation is regarded as fully knowable disturbance and theMPC method is applied to register control in acceleration process and simulations areconducted to show the effectiveness of the algorithm.
