In recent years, pulse high magnetic field facility (PHMFF) has been developedrapidly as a basic research method in many disciplines. The power supply system is one ofthe core components of PHMFF, in which the capacitor power supply is the most widelyused one. In order to make sure that the discharge is more flexible, the capacitor powersupply is set using modular structure. In this paper, the magnetic field waveform distortionproblem that several capacitor power supply modules discharge in lower voltage isresearched.According to the experiment platform at the Wuhan high magnetic field center(WHMFC) and considering the influence of line parameters on the discharge synchrony, Abasic discharge circuit of capacitor power supply system is built, basic dischargecharacteristics of capacitor power supply that connected in parallel and the calculationmethod of two asynchronous power supply are analyzed. And the voltage source thyristormodel that fit to the synchronization simulation is made. The model is verified to becorrect through theoretical analysis and simulation, and the actual turn-on voltage ofthyristor model is theoretically analyzed.The core factors that affect the synchronization open are given, including chargevoltage, line inductive element changing, outlet filter, thyristor turn-on delay, thyristorturn-on voltage, parallel number of the capacitor power supply and so on. The minimumsynchronous voltage that several capacitor power supply connected in parallel is deducedthrough the theories. The solutions of several capacitor power supplies dischargesynchronized in low voltage are given in this paper, and the possible unsynchronizedreasons and solutions under the high voltage.The theoretical results are simulated, charge voltage, line parameter changing, theinfluence of the thyristor to the synchronous turn-on of capacitor power supply areanalyzed. The relationships between different factors are simulated and analyzed usingcontrol variable method, and the theoretical analysis is verified to be correct. The actuallow voltage unsynchronized experiments of different type of capacitors are done, and thereasons of errors generated between experiments and theories based on the experimental results are analyzed.
