Design And Realization Of The Activation System Of Shanghai Telecom PHS Network

In order to maintain a good share of Chinese telecom market, China Telecom has made the decision of changing the old out of date“97 system”into a new informationalized business operation system which is called Management Business Operation Support System (MBOSS). Personal handy-phone system (PHS) is chosen as a trial to realize the network activation (NA) which is a part of function module of MBOSS’s IBP system. NA improves the competitive power of Shanghai Telecom by increasing the satisfactory degree of customers.The purpose of this pape is to put forward a design and realization scheme of the activation system of Shanghai Telecom PHS network based on the analysis and research of the function and disposal capability. Its feasibility and practicability should be proved by the test loading on the exsiting network system.In this paper, firstly, the system frame of IBP、the functional requirement、the flow of service transaction and the system disposal capability in particular are expatiated. Secondly, the design and realization scheme is given in the way of working environment、storage、configuration calculation、system security、high usability、software frame and the system interface etc. Then, two methods to implement the interface of PHS network activation system are dicussed. They are programs writing through Sockets technique or WebService. In the end, the testing project and application instance of the system are illuminated.The signification of the paper is not only that it realizes the fuction of PHS network antomatic activation by improves the flaw of predecessor system, but also providing a good reference to the entire network activation in the future. It accumulates the first-hand experiences for the development of Shanghai Telecom network as well.
