The administratorfunctions include curriculum management, customer information management, messagemanagement and system management. Ordinary users includes teacher and student. It givesdifferent permissions for them respectively. The teacher can manage the resources such ascourse introduction, teaching plan, teaching outline, teaching plan, teaching content, theelectron optical experiments, references, exercises, test paper database and also interact withstudents. Students can browse all kinds of teaching resources, download teaching resources,participate in online testing and communicate with the teacher. The system administrator canmodify the password and manange the system log and authorityAnd the design of thefunctions and the implementation process are described in detail. Finally, various functions ofthe system are tested. The test results show that the system run smoothly and the functions canbe executed smoothly.In this paper, the optical network course teaching management system can improve thequality and level of teaching. It can enhance the communication for students and teachers. It isconvenient for students to access and download the relevant teaching resources.
