As a special energy, electric power has been applied in many areas and peoplecannot live without it in daily life. Voltage transformer, as one of the key equipment forpower transmission, will seriously affect the safty and stablefor the power supplement.It demands that higher maintenance and advanced technology should be implemented tomonitor the transformer in real time. Recently, with the development of the powermaintenance system, periodic overhaul and test have been put into normal action.However, conventional test and regular analysis of oil chromatographic have theirlimitations, such as latent hazard of transformer cannot be discovered early, increase themaintenance cost and workload. Therefore, it is of great significance to carry out onlineanalysis for oil chromatographic of the voltage transformer.The goal of this paper is to introduce the off-line chromatographic technology intothe on-line analysis system. The on-line analysis system of transformer oilchromatogram is based on the national standard and industrial standard. It can beapplied to oil immersed transformer with the voltage amounting to35000V and aboveand the capacity amounting to4000000VA and above. The main contents include:real-time gas component information is obtained by analyzing periodic chromatogram ofinsulating oil of monitored transformer. With the usage of electronic technology,communication technology, sensor technology and chromatographic analysis technology,the relevant information will be recognized by the computer and then through thephysical devices such as the communication serial, fiber and wireless transmissionmodule the relevant information is transferred to the server through different interfacesand agreements. The diagnostic results can be obtained through comparison and analysison the trend charts, histograms, three ratio, gas production rate, etc.The principle of online analysis system of transformer oil chromatogram is asfollows. With the automatic cleaning system, oil residue inside the pipe will be cleanedby the circulation. After cleaning, oil sample is gathered, introduced and separated from dissolved gas. Then the data of gas component is uploaded to the data acquisitionsystem. They are converted, classified and stored in the embedded processing system.The calculation, analysis and management of these data are carried out. At last theresults will be transmitted to the data processing platform through the data interface. Thediagnosis and analysis will be conducted on the data.The working process of the Online analysis system can be divided into on-call andanalysis process. During the working process, the oil chromatography equipment neednot to work continually. Instead, with the on-call process, it will enter into the operationstate when needed and will automatically enter into the hibernation state when not. Butduring the on-call process, the equipment must keep checking itself to maintain a goodstate so that it can quickly enter the working state when needed. To improve theaccuracy of the system, the oil can be entered and analyzed repeatedly and the data inconsistent with the real situation can be stored. After the completion ofChromatographic analysis, it can automatically transmit through the GPRS moduleaccording to UDP, and through the verification mechanism, ensure the normal receptionof data in a far distance.The implementation of on-line analysis of transformer oil chromatogramtechnology is a rather difficult project. From the project approval, development, design,implementation, acceptance, online commission, it is a long trip. The system designstarts with operating conditions, operating environment, fault characteristics,decomposition of insulated oil, analysis of gas components, fault diagnosis, treatmentadvice, analysis report, alarm and other aspects of the design. The design idea of on-lineanalysis is based on off-line chromatographic technology. The creative idea lies in thereal-time online analysis using off-line chromatography. Innovation, accuracy andreal-time of online monitoring system are highlighted its purpose is to detect the defects,investigate and treat in a timely manner in order to ensure the normal operation of themain transformer.
