ABSTRACT:Massive growth of user traffic and new business requirements drive the research of new network technology, rapid change of network equipment development, network evolution and value-added features, making the network to the direction of software development. SDN (Software Defined Network) promotes transformation of the network, turning into the new exploration of the Internet technology. SDN will bring greater flexibility and openness to create new industrial ecology.This paper aims to build a SDN management scheduling platform, combine SDN technology with service orchestration and resource management technology, and complete the overall framework design and functional requirements analysis of major entities, on this basis, applying the platform to campus network. Combining with the characteristics of campus network, to achieve a hierarchical network design, and complete the validation and performance analysis of a variety of network technologies.First of all, paper makes clear the technology and research status of SDN, then introduces modern service orchestration and resource management technology from users view point. Further illustrated we need to combine SDN technology with service orchestration technology to meet flexible on-demand provisioning of user network resources. Then we constructed SDN management scheduling platform (the overall design platform). Including system architecture design, analysis of each functional entity and business needs, focusing on analysis of topology management entity, cross-domain path computation entity, virtual network image and business protection monitoring entity. Then applied the platform to campus network, designed test environment, and we verified and assessed validation and performance of platform strictly, solving the problem of practical deployment. Finally, in order to support a larger, more kinds of networks, on the basis of theoretical analysis, we deployed the platform to some of typical business scenarios, discussed how to achieve efficient management and intelligent decision in some typical business scenario of the platform, analyzed process flow of cross-domain path computation, label space management, multicast service distribution and service protection monitoring, to verify feasibility and performance optimization of network platform.
