RF power measurement is a main part of the process of mobile phone production, the UE RF power parameters has been strictly regulated by the3GPP protocol and related documents of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.Fast power calibration of LTE multi-mode UE is the latest solution of UE power calibration. It is characterized by the use of RF LIST MODE technology and is compatible with a variety of mobile communication standard. The project relies on the existing UE testing platform, the work of design, development and commissioning is being established in the original platform. By the work of market research, protocols research, algorithms design, algorithms simulation, project development and project commissioning, etc, the objective of the "Research and implementation of fast power calibration of LTE multi-mode UE" has been fullfilled.The main contents are as follows:First, the paper investigates the development of the mobile communications market, and pointed out the necessity of fast power calibration solution of multi-mode UE; Secondly, the paper describes the principles of multi-mode UE fast power calibration solution, which include:basic knowledge of mobile communication systems, principle of UE power calibration, the principles of normal fast power calibration and the theory of LTE multi-mode UE fast power calibration solution. At the same time, the paper introduces the basic knowledge of the UE test platform, including software and hardware; Next, the paper focuses on the design and implementation of master layer and measurement layer, presented what the master layer does and the interface which connect master layer and other software layer, focusing on the measurement layer, including software algorithm design and interface design; Finally, the paper briefly introduces the relevant knowledge of the physical layer, the focus is to show the effects of system:introducing how to design test cases, analyze the system stability and measurement precision. The project has been successfully applied to the multi-mode UE RF test equipment which has achieved good commercial results.
