SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) is the system which is used to monitor and control the equipments of on-site operation. Digital radio is high-performance professional data transmission radio, providing transparent interface RS232or RS485. How to protect the data transmission of digital radio in SCADA systems has achieved the widespread attentions. Digital radios almost cover all SCADA systems on the fields of the national economy, so its transmission security problems are required to be solved. In terms of digital radio transmission, most of the relevant information is to use digital radios to build SCADA systems, and the research for transmission level is rare lack.According to these problems, we have done in-depth researches. The main contents are as follows:1. Analysis the security risks of SCADA systems and digital radio. Based on the features of SCADA system and digital radio, we analysis comprehensively the security risks and detail the major security issues.2. Evaluate the safety of digital radio transmission based on the attack tree model. Develop a new attack tree for the characteristics of SCADA system and digital radio, and lay the foundation for the safety assessment.3. Design and implement the SCADA system simulation platform based on the digital radio. The simulation platform achieves the main business of SCADA system, and introduces the functions of each module in detail.4. Use the simulation platform to analyze various means of attacks, and implement the safety assessment of the digital radio transmission in SCADA system based on the attack tree.
