With the rapid development of information age,an increasing num-ber of situations that require real-time transmission of image information and text information. Various information transmission systems are de-signed to meet the requirements for different data transmission. STANAG7023standard that can handle a large number of data. This paper design and implementation a system multiplexing image information and tap based on STANAG7023standard.This paper describes the types, data packet, data segment and data record that the STANAG7023standard is able to handle. Then this paper analysises and compares the advantages and disadvantages of a single index structure and progressivity index structure of the two multiplexing scheme and selects the progressivity index structure. This paper describes the advantages and disadvantages of TCP and UDP applications and chooses UDP by combination with practical application requirements, STANG7023standard features, and the features of high fault tolerance and progressive display of JPEG2000which solves the problem of out of sequence packets via UDP packet number and improves the reliability via the key UDP packets retransmission. This paper introduces the theory of cyclic redundancy check and applies to STANAG7023. This paper de-signs functional modules of the system by object-oriented and design patterns so that not only achieves the core functions such as displaying image information and auxiliary information, converting the image data format, multiplexing and tap transmission of information and so on, but also ensures that the system has good scalability to meet changing needs of the future.There is a problem that the auxiliary information multiplexing effi- ciency is very low is found during the actual use of the system. For ex-ample, six data multiplexing efficiency as low as7.8percent in this pa-per.Repeat sending the index data because of the length of packet is var-iable leads to the multiplexing efficiency decrease. This paper combines the fixed length and variable length frames, multiplexes the auxiliary in-formation with fixed length frame and image information with variable length frame, modifies the head field of packet and gets index infor-mation by offset bytes address to improve the efficiency of multiplexing to48.3%。...
