Due to vehicle ad hoc network(VANET) with nodes moving fast, without a central agencyand other characteristics, making frequent road traffic accidents in recent years,so that trafficaccidents have become one of the world’s very concerned about security issues. In order to improvesecurity in the communications of VANET, it presses for effective management of the trust. In thispaper, the development of VANET were summarized and analyzed, and summarized thecharacteristics of the vehicle ad hoc network and the security risks. Using the modeling tools ofgame theory, this paper studied the trust model among vehicles, which improved the safety of roadtraffic.Cooperation is widespread in nature and human civilization, there is always a variety of formsof cooperation between people. It is an important issue that how to form and maintain cooperativebehavior for selfish group of individuals in the current studies. Just like trust is a prerequisite forcooperation, vehicle nodes communicate with each other in vehicle ad hoc network must be onthe premise of trust, for the purpose of cooperation. How to cooperate with willing to cooperatingvehicle nodes, for purpose of reducing or refusing with malicious vehicle nodes to cooperate, itwill be a very important issue which affecting vehicle network security. This paper mainly includes(1)In reality, the interaction between vehicle nodes can be displayed by network, but thetopology of such a network is very complex, which will constrain the system. In order to betterdescribe the relationship of trust and cooperation,. In this paper, we put the vehicle nodes on simplerules grid network to simulate and explore at first. Through a combination of charges in ALLC,ALLD, TFT and TF2T, and with the help of two individual mobile radius and the noise factors toconcrete analysis their spring up which based on game theory of cooperative behavior.(2)This paper put forward a trust model based on game theory in vehicle ad hoc network. Themodel introduced time attenuation function to ensure the instantaneity of vehicle send individualmessages in vehicle ad hoc network, and when calculating the recommendation trust value intotrading density function to calculate the recommended individual credibility of the vehicle.Simulation results show that the trust model can better withstand the malicious attacks ofindividual vehicles, not only to identify the selfish vehicle individuals, but also to establish a trustrelationship between the vehicle intentioned individuals, which ensured the safety of the vehiclenetwork.
