Under the tide of the Internet, people are active to carry out their owninternet business in every field. Facing to the shortage of hardware and lowutilization rate, we need to find a reasonable and available method to solve theproblems. Cloud computing is produced under such background. The cloudtechnology serves as the local host. We could gain corresponding resources in theway of cloud paying. It also improves the security and convenience, improve theutilization rate of resources.Virtualization technology is an important support of cloud computing. It canimprove the utilization rate of resources by the resource integration function.Managing all hardware equipment is an important task of virtualization. In theface of many resources, such as storage, processors, memory, especially networkbandwidth resources in order to improve the management of bandwidth resources. How virtualization technology put forward an effective management solution is avery important problem. This paper firstly points the types of virtualization, then summarizes the Xenvirtualization software’s basic situation. Key technologies of Xen: the eventchannel and the Hypercall. The solution is proposed by the original defects ofXen bandwidth allocation mechanism and algorithm, and in combination with thepractical situation of paying customers. It can provide the adjustable thebandwidth of the interface for paying customers. Through the input deviceinformation, the bandwidth value changing and trigger driver layer to adjust thebandwidth. Driver layer makes the corresponding response, from the physicallayer to get the corresponding resources and the bandwidth allocation. And thenthe existing bandwidth allocation algorithm is improved. In paid user bandwidth in the rest of the time, the average bandwidth is allocated to the experience user, improve the user experience. In the not enough resources condition for payingcustomers, it can receive the bandwidth from the experience user. Finally it joinsthe excessive netif treatment method. We simulate the real-time data flowtransmission of campus network by using IxChariot software and do the contrastexperiment. We test the original schemeand improved scheme through theexperiment. Through the experiment, we verify the new solution can effectivelyimprove the utilization rate of bandwidth resources, and realize the resourcesdistribution according to his needs.
