The Design And Implementation Of Analytical And Statistical System For IPTV Viewing Data

It is a great significance to master television users’viewing behavior for radio and television publicity and industry management. This article is based on operating the business of Interactive Personality Television (IPTV) by Shanxi Radio and Television New Media Ltd., to research on how to implement the bidirectional data communication between the platform and clients. And through the designed software system for data on the user’s viewing behavior, which formed program viewing statistics after the acquisition of data parsing, it will form a statistical table for relevant personnel to consult, which makes it easy to adjust and optimize the platform program and to business marketing promotion.There are big differences between IPTV program statistical system and traditional broadcast TV system in data acquisition and analysis. Most obvious one is that the traditional broadcast TV uses artificial questionnaire and deployment testing instrument sampling method, but IPTV is automatic acquisition from all samples, which can get more accurate data to obtain more accurate ratings to guide work. In this paper, the system is designed to solve the issues about IPTV users’data analysis and statistic. It adopts C/S+B/S framework, the whole system runs on Microsoft Windows Server system; the development environment uses Microsoft Visual Studio system. In this article, the theory of software engineering is based on relevant technology, it makes a comprehensive needs analysis to the business, details the design and implementation of the system, and finally completes the system test. Through analyzing the overall business and user access log data source, we can clear the needs to deal with the data structure and data size, and combine with business requirements for process system design, module division and database design, etc..The system design and development has been basically completed, and puts into operation in good condition at present. This system can guide the enterprise daily production, procurement and optimization work through statistics and statistical reports produced by it. At the same time, it provides objective and real data support for business promotion and advertising marketing.
