More and more engineering designers use computer to query data and design calculation in the process of product design. Especially in the anti fatigue design, the damage tolerance design method involves many parameters, computational complexity, in the estimation the life of the fatigue crack propagation, which has strict regulations for the parameter selection, calculation formula and calculation method of the selection, at this time, need to query the fatigue strength design manual and the handbook of stress Intensity factors. Therefore, if we can establish a database which involves the parameters of the fatigue strength design manual and the handbook of stress Intensity factors, with application of Web technology, designers input the technical parameters on the working interface, and pass the parameters to network server, the program of network server make calculation on the basis of the input parameters, finally return results to the working interface, and provide downloadable destination file. In this way, not only makes the unfamiliar with the damage tolerance design method to anti fatigue design method, and improve the design efficiency, shorten the production period of the product, therefore, designers have more time to develop new product and research new technique.The work of paper is with the application of ASP.NET technology, using Microsoft Visual Studio2010Express to design user interface, build data in SQL Server2008Database, by means of Microsoft C#program language to compile computation program and connect program of database. Finally, design the damage tolerance design platform based on network. To achieve the parameter query and design calculation about estimation the life of the fatigue crack propagation. With two engineering examples show that the accuracy and practicability of the design platform.
