The marine environment measuring is an important part of the national marinestrategy, and sensor is an indispensable tool for the marine environmentalmeasurements. However, regular ocean velocity sensor is difficult to meet the demandof the measurement in the deep sea, so it became a highlight to make out a new deepsea sensor. In this paper, aided by the National Natural Science Fund project"measurable upwelling three-dimensional instantaneous current sensor research"(NO.41076061), developed a calibration platform which has the ability to evaluate theperformance of three dimensional instantaneous current sensor.This paper summarizes the significance of ocean strategy, emphasizes the necessityof this activity, and also has a clear sense about the value and significance of theresearch. Based on the investigation of conventional current meter performance indexand the particularity of the marine environment, determined the performance which isrequired by calibration platform. The calibration platform overall design program isdecided by the analysis of the performance parameters.Depending on the overall design of the calibration platform,the thesis develop theplatform particularly from three aspects which are mechanical structure, hardwaresystem, software system.The mechanical structure uses the servo motor and ballscrewto carry out.To ensure the assembly precision, uses the high precision measuring toolsto achieve.This thesis design the control system based on STM32controller andintegrate the minimum system, communication module, data storage module, WIFImodule on it. In view of signal interference problems, from the interference source,the signal collection circuit to solve it and these improvements achieved good effects.LabVIEW is the supporter for the software system. In the Lower system, the mostimportant contents include making communication function come true and how tocomplete the function of the highly accuracy speed control and position control.After platform system completed, do experiments on the whole motion controlsystem, analyze the existing problems and solutions of them. Verify the feasibility ofthe system, and the next step research works were discussed.
