Android smartphone operating system has abundant interface developmentcomponents, flexible inner mechanism and comprehensive database engine, itquickly overwhelmingly occupied the field of smart mobile devices’ operatingsystem since its advent by open source, and now its increasingly wide applicationfield gradually step into the TV, set-top boxes, and other fields. The friendlyman-machine interaction system of rehabilitation medical equipment largelydetermines the user’s enthusiasm and the effect of rehabilitation exercise. Thispaper will aid in the rich interface development components of Android and itswide range of client devices to develop s set of stable and reliable control systemwith friendly man-machine interactive.This paper analyzes the present situation of the limb rehabilitation medicalequipment at home and abroad, finds out the improvement ideas, and then proposesa hierarchical control scheme to control the Limb Rehabilitative and Fitness Chair,including the low-level real-time control system (Lower-machine) and the upperintelligent human-computer interaction platform (Upper-machine). Considering thetrend of the development of the Internet of things as well as convenient dockingwith the remote medical service system in the future, we use Wi-Fi wirelessnetwork to connect the Lower and Upper machine. The design of theLower-machine mainly based on the chair’s function, using the ARM Cortex-M332-bit core chip as the main chip, and designing the motor driving, sensing system,Wi-Fi communications module circuits, and designing the lower multi-taskingoperating programs based on the μC/OS-II Real-Time OS, and then allocating theirpriorities reasonably. The Upper-machine’s design benefits from the variousAndroid devices terminal, by developing applications with friendly interface basedon the Android platform. It contains storage of user’s information, parameter’sadjustment, Wi-Fi communication, real-time information dynamic display andentertainment. By prototype debugging, the entire control system has a friendlyman-machine interface and rich feature, its operation is easy, stable, safe andreliable.
