Keystroke dynamic authentication technology as a behavior-based biometric authentication technology not only has the features of general biometric authentication technology (such as fingerprint recognition, face detection, iris authentication, etc.) that identify is unique and portable, it also has some added advantages, such as a low cost, an easy implement and a high degree of public acceptability. For any biometric authentication system, sample collection and the establishment of the template is crucial. Due to the natural keystroke behavior will also be influenced by the surrounding environment as well as mood changes, how to choose the best keystroke samples to establish the template will determine the accuracy of the entire system of certification.Because of this defect that keystroke dynamics authentication technology for single template can not reduce the FRR/FAR to a very good range, we use keystroke dynamics authentication technology base multi-template to reduce both the error rate. For the multi-template selection, we propose BAP (Best Authentication Probability) matching algorithm. BAP is a combination of the proposed another two template selection algorithm and the other two algorithm is MAP (Most Authentication Probability) matching based on the FRR lowest and LAP (Least Authentication Probability) matching based on the FAR lowest, so that BAP is an ideal template selection algorithm that can reduced FRR and FAR to a compromise acceptable range. In addition, this paper proposed two fusion strategies based multi-template that is the Weighted Sum Mean rules and Improved And and Or rules to further reduce both the error rate. Finally, two template update method that is periodic update strategy and aperiodic update strategy are studied.In addition, a keystroke dynamics authentication system base multi-template is designed. Though the comparison of BAP with MMS and GMMS, BAP algorithm is proved to be a effectively improvement of the performance of the authentication system. To contrast with different fusion rules, the two fusion rules proposed in this paper are superior to existing fusion rules.
