Single-shoulder bag exerts stress to shoulder muscles and creates tension between the neck and shoulder, wich give rise to long period fatigue of the neck and shoulder muscles, muscle damage, unbalanced force of spine, scoliosis, intervertebral disk displacement and cervical spondylosis. Surface EMG collection on subjects no trauma, better maneuverability. Research on human muscle fatigue by surface EMG method is now widely used in many fields. Few people study muscle fatigue of human single-shoulder weight-bearing walking by surface EMG characteristics. In this paper, the surface EMG (sEMG) of neck extensors, trapezius, latissimus dorsi, erector spinae, rectus bone, biceps femoris, tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius were collected by the surface electrode when normal walking and right shoulder weight-bearing walking. Subjects will weight5%,10%and15%respectively in the weight of shoulder bag. On the treadmill at the speed of regulation uninterrupted walk for30minutes. Every5minutes experimenter collects10seconds data and completes the rating of perceived exertion questionnaire. After the experiment, the average electromyographic (AEMG) and mean power frequency (MPF) was extracted from surface EMG. Data is normalized in statistical software. By t-test methods, the result shows the symmetry and the differences between male and female on surface EMG. The experiment refers to the influence on the average electromyographic and the mean power frequency by the different bearing weight and walking time. When subjects are single shoulder weight-bearing walking, the results show that the left and right sides muscle of neck extensor, trapezius and erector spinae are not symmetry. The average electromyographic and mean power frequency between male and female are different. As the increasing of load, average electromyographic of main muscles increase. With increasing of walking time, mean power frequency of main muscles decrease accordingly.
