Design And Implementation Of3G Intelligent Ordering System Based On Android

Catering industry is the most relevant industry to our daily lives. When we were in a restaurant,"taking orders"looks like the simplest procedure, however, it could be a key point of running this restaurant. With the widespread of computer network and the development of mobile internet, more and more traditional ordering systems appear ceaselessly. In order to enhance the competitiveness of the enterprises themselves, most of the enterprises have introduced the traditional ordering systems, which has reduced the cost of the enterprises and increased the profits of the enterprises. However, with the improvement of people’s living standard and the young consumer groups continuing to increase, such traditional ordering system already can’t satisfy people’s modern, fashionable consumption concept.This paper which based on catering industry aims at designing and implementing a3G intelligent ordering system, which based on Android to apply to the chain catering enterprises and to provide customers with a full range of service:GPS, on-site meal, online ordering and delivery services, which can provide better service for all kinds of people. Traditional ordering system’functions generally include:checking table, opening table, changing table, unioning table, ordering and checking out and so on. But with the improvement of people’s living standard and the accelerating pace of life, these functions can not meet the needs of the people. Therefore this system based on the traditional ordering system’functions and the data mining algorithms,has improved many functions which the traditional ordering system has and added some new functions, for example:LBS location service, order analysis, intelligent ordering and kitchen viewing. In addition, the operators of the system have changed from the restaurant waiters to the customers, so that customers can be really involved in the consumption.Above all, this system is different from the traditional ordering system, which can not only greatly promote the interaction between customers and the restaurant, but also facilitate the enterprise management and improve enterprise benefits. This system provides users with a full range of services. What’s more, this system provides the consumers a convenient, quick and safe consumption, better meeting the needs of the modern people’s consumption demand.
