The Data Evidence Extraction Basing The Geographic Information Of The Android Platform

With the development of science and technology, computers are becoming more and more close to people’s daily life. In recent years, with the rapid development of embedded devices, smart phones have been an indispensable tool for people. Due to the opening of the Android store and App Store and the improvement of smart phones, which makes more applications of life develop and be used. The people’s information of life inadvertently is recorded by smart phone, which including some privacy information. The privacy information is a proof for the behavior of mobile phone owners, which has great help for crime forensics, and makes the development of the smartphone Forensics Research.Firstly, the paper analyses the present situation of research on mobile phone forensics, including foreign and domestic situation, and analysis existing problems of the phone evidence, including hardware and software problems, how to get the data by the software. Combined with the current actual situation, this paper presents the basic process of forensics on Android applications, and analysis some existing problems in data extraction, and describes some solutions to these problems. Especially for the SQLite database data extraction of the Android system. Then, some data mining operations are performed on the extracted data, including data cleaning, classification, clustering and sorting. As a result of this paper is for multiple application data’s processing, and the stored data in each program is different. So in order to more completely reflect the information of criminal behavior, in this paper, the procedure of data fusion is being used. In this part, the paper also describes a lot of data fusion problems, and puts forward the corresponding solutions. Next, the paper describes the realization of the idea and framework, including three modules: data acquisition, data mining and data fusion. Finally the police gets the relevant evidence. This article also carries on the forecast to the future mobile phone evidence.The experimental environment of this paper is basing on the data of Android system, and the data is copied to the computer from the smart phone for data analysis. And due to the limitations of the data heterogeneity, this paper only extracted the data from the Baidu maps, the Udache and the Ctrip three applications for the experiment. Through experiments and tests, the final result can provide information on the activities of criminal suspects very well, provides great convenience for the police to solve the case.
