| Most of the portable radiation monitor nowadays are all come from foreign countries. Thecommunication protocol are all designed by the manufacturers rather than a standard one. There is nouniform data upload, management and analysis software. In practical application, these differentsoftware of the radiation monitor, which have no Chinese version and have different style, are neededrespectively to upload data to the computer. Furthermore, the operation is very complicated and unableto realize the unified management of data. For this reason, a new software is needed to implement theunified management of the three kinds of equipment data, simplify the complexity of data management.These three equipments are: LB124surface contamination, Polimaster PM1703GNγ-n checkinginstrument and RadEye G-10γ radiation meter, which are from Germany, the United States and Russiarespectively, with three different communication protocols. At present, no unified software appeared forthese three equipments. The domestic application of these three equipment at the same time is seldom.Until now, there is no company in China to develop an upper software for these three devices.In this study, we first deeply analyzed the protocol of the three equipments and corresponded thefunction to the protocol. Then we analyzed the demands of the users in order to set the function of thesoftware, the programming language and the database to choose. V modal was used as the softwaredevelopment modal to fulfill logical process of the equipments, functional block dividing andintegration testing. The testing and designing were closely linked. During the development, the codefunction was divided by blocks in order to facilitate the testing, functional introduction and testing planmade. After much testing and polishing, we finish the development work. In our research, the softwarewas used under Windows XP environment. LabVIEW was chosen as the development software andMSDE was used as the database.By our software, the monitor person doesn’t need to use three different software and learn thecomplicated produce to finish their work. We avoided the data error and loss during management, andsolve the problem of high labor intensity, low speed, and low efficiency. Using the our software, one canfinish the work with high speed. Especially after the computer networking, data sharing can be realized.More duplicated work can be reduced, which can improve the level of the data processing and bringgreat convenience to the monitoring person so as to improve their work quality and efficiency. |
