LEO satellites, as a supplement and extention of the land mobile communication system,with a combination of the public network, can obtain global personal mobile communications.Compared with the geostationary orbit satellite systems, it reveals a large number of excellence,such as global range, low transmission latency, low power consumption, invulnerability and so on,which make LEO satellite communications technology playing a greater role. Many classic systemsare using LEO, such as GPS system, USAsatellite telephones, satellite etc..There are some issues still need to be studied to promote the comprehensive development andapplications of LEO satellite communication systems. This article is aimed at the research anddesign about the tracking system of LEO satellite communication system based on monopulsetracking, which can be used on aircraft, LEO satellites and so on.Firstly, in order to introduce the research appliance and peculiarity of LEO as the backdrop,stressing the characteristics and design of antenna, servo feed network, they are the front of thesystem, they are in charge of the receiving and transmitting of signals. This article focuses on thefunction and design of antenna, feed network and servo. Introduction of the principles of singlepulse tracing and the tracking receiver; analyzing the selection and design of the antenna surface,feedback system design and simulation, structural design of the antenna base, etc.; then analysis anddesign of antenna servo system hardware system, including some important parts, such as theprocessor module, inclinometer, dual GPS orientation, encoder, etc.; elaborated servo systemsoftware design and programming ideas and thought processes of some important programmingmodule; finally, testing the antenna system.
