With the rapid development of Internet technology and the fourth generation mobile communication systemhas (4G) began to commercial. At present, more and more requires about higher bandwidth, high quality, highspeed, are put forward.4G is spreading step by step.Multiple antenna is one of the most significant skills, it canprovide these requirements. It is known that choosing the appropriate MIMO modes in varied situations canachieve better transmission effects. In order to let users reach the better transmission effects, this paper focusesLTE downlink MIMO mode switch technology system research. LTE system support the MIMO techniques inPDSCH downward business channel, including spatial multiplexing,beamforming, and transmit diversity, etc. It`sable to achieve the best System transmission rate. So, research on the seven kinds of the MIMO transmissionmodes in LTE downlink is one of the most hotest researches.This paper go deep into focus on TDD LTE downlink MIMO seven kinds of modes switch technologysystem research and some classical arithmetic, This paper gives in-depth research and improvement. As follows:Firstly, it introduces the downlink physical channel of the TDD LTE system, and studies the generation process ofbaseband data in LTE downlink physical channel. It also introduces including LTE construct, LTE agreement, theframe of TDD LTE and the key skills of LTE. Secondly, it introduces about the MIMO technology, includingbeamforming, transmit diversity and spatial multiplexing. We have put forward these three technologies separately,and come up with their advantages and disadvantages. In addition, this paper gives MIMO channel, and channelcapacity. Finally, it specific studies the working principle of the seven kinds of the MIMO transmission modes inLTE downlink, theoretically compares the channel capacity of various modes, and proposes the meaning andpurpose of researching the topic. It comes up with two new researches, and gives the simulation results.This paper is at the leading edge, the main point is the MIMO seven kinds of transmit modes, and if we wantbetter transmission effects, we should choose the appropriate MIMO modes in varied situations can achieve. Thisprocess has certain error, waiting to research the more accurate method to optimize the threshold choice.
