Due to the growing shortage of IPv4addresses and mature technology of IPv6, IPv6backbone network construction requirements have been imminent, existing networks will be upgrade to the next generation IPv6network. Due to the differences between IPv4and IPv6, and communication between these two networks cannot be done directly. For the transition period, users will still be able to simultaneously enjoy both IPv4and IPv6network services, network operators must use IPv4/IPv6transition technology, in order to achieve a smooth transition.In the interim technical aspects, IETF organization has provided several corresponding programs, which are dual stack, tunneling, network address translation technology. Network address translation technology has several advantages like wide range of applications, easy to deploy, low cost of deployment and so on. Stateful network address translation technology and stateless network address translation technology are the two directions network address translation techniques describe by RFC6052, RFC6144, RFC6145, RFC61146other standard documentation.Through studying network address translation technology standard documents and to achieve a stateful protocol address translation and stateless protocol address translator on a Linux system,, a kind of network which data streams from IPv4access network to IPv6backbone network, and finally arrives IPv4Internet service network interworking scenarios solution will be applied.
