With the development of the modern technology and the demand of people’s working and lives, the Internet has got great development and application, because of its features:openness, sharing, equality. Before the widespread of the Internet, The way people communicate is letters and it would take two weeks before the letter could be delivered. The way people get information is newpapers and it is daily version. The way people entertainment is simple. However after the rapid development of the Internet, the efficiency of working was increased by several times and The cost of communication between people is reduced. It only costs5minutes to make a decision. We could buy tens of thousands of goods online easily. The Internet is changing our life and the way of working.The combination of Internet and traditional industry is the inevitable trend. There are a lot of innovation in the e-commerce and the instant communication field. But in the the traditional education industry, there are a lot of potential of the Internet. Many problems exists in China traditional education industry. The uneven distribution of educational resources exists between the developed area and remote area. The traditional education is influenced by time and place.This paper presents a new online education system based on the HTML5technology. HTML5is a new markup language standard, compared with the previous language. On the one hand, it enhances the performance of Web Webpage browser, the client may be more functional in the front. On the other hand, the application of local data storage and database is added to the language. The needs of plug-in is reduced, such as Adobe Fash. HTML5has many rich library, and The system has realized a new online education system by using WebRTC and Node.js technology.
