To meet growing user base and uneven traffic, enhance network performance, LTE-A proposed a series of advanced technologies, such as carrier aggregation, MIMO, CoMP and so on. But the performance of each link is close to Shannon limit, these techniques can not improve the performance significantly. So heterogeneous network (HetNet) is recently proposed by3GPP, which can significantly improve spectrum efficiency and system capacity, and meeting different requirements for coverage in hotspots. The typical scene is small cell and macro coexistence. Due to the huge number of small cell, how to self-configure the radio resource of small cell is a problem. This paper studies the resources self-configuring technology in LTE-A heterogeneous network. There are three innovations:1. Based on the new small station throughput optimization, centralized novel power self-configuring scheme is presented and using statistical methods derive an approximate simplified scheme in small cell mass deployment scenarios. Simulate these two schemes in a small cell and macro base station coexistence scenarios and analyze the simulation results.2. Based on the idea of feedback, a distributed power self-configuring scheme is proposed. This scheme does not need a centralized controller, has a rapid response and less signaling. Simulate the novel scheme and compare the results with centralized schemes.3. Base on cognitive radio, a new frequency self-configuring method is presented. The program combines space and time occupations, which have higher spectral efficiency.
