Design And Implementation Of Trans-Formation Middleware From Web Page To Wap Page

In recent years, the number of mobile Internet users increased dramatically and more and more users browse the Internet via mobile devices because the rapid development of mobile Internet and the popularization of smart mobile phones, and the application of the Internet are also beginning to shift to mobile terminals. At the same time, the establishment of WAP site and mobile office automation system has become the focus of promoting the process of information construction for enterprises and governments.Visit the Web page by using mobile terminals will encounter troubles of mobile Internet bandwidth, transmission speed, screen size and resolution of terminal devices for these pages are designed for PC users. Also there are many shortcomings of the traditional development method of WAP site and mobile OA system, such as heavy development work, long cycle, need to modify Web application and so on.Transmission middleware from Web page to WAP page in this paper is a common platform for mobile devices directly access the Internet and quickly build WAP site and mobile OA system. It has functions including text adaptation, image adaptation, terminal adaptive, cache service and system management, it can also custom adaptation rules.The testing results prove the system has good transformation effect and excellent performance. This paper firstly describes background knowledge related to how to transform web page to WAP page as the following:WAP protocol, XML language, DOM, WML and XHTML language. Then the paper introduces requirements analysis and the architecture of the system and gives an outline of key technologies about the system implementation. Next this paper mainly focuses on the design and implementation of modules of the system. At last, an actual project illustrates how to build a mobile OA system based on the system.
