The problem of web service trustworthiness has become a bottleneck in web service development and increased the risks to its users. To deal with this problem, this study emphasizes the importance of web service trustworthiness based on user feedback, introduces a more effective user feedback model, and this model is studied and discussed in experimentation using simulation. This paper points out the flaws in currently available accumulative trust model and the mean trust model, then suggests the service trustworthiness could be motivated when the credibility of the service evaluator, service trading hours and the service transaction value adhere to certain conditions, i.e., the influence of the reliability of a service rater, the weighing of transaction time, the value of the deal, and the application of penalty to enhance punishment to the malicious service providers. In addition, the simulation experiment in this study helps analyze the performance of the user feedback measurement model, and indicates the application of this projected model is more objective and effective in comparison with the accumulative trust model used by Taobao. This study may contribute to the reduction of asymmetry in information transaction, the induction of the cost of malicious providers, the deduction of risks of the web service trading, and the promotion of healthy development of web services.
