Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is one of automatic Identification technology nowadays, which is used with the coupling of radio magnetic field to realize wireless communication and identify the items.RFID can be traced back to the beginning of the20th century, in recent years, along with the rapid development of the electronic science and technology as well as information and communication industry, the RFID technology is also gradually entered the stage of large-scale commercial. it is considered to be one of the most promising information technology development in the21st century if we can achieve the advantages such as rapid object tracking and management, high reliability, good secrecy, small and light.Therefore, the design and research of the antenna which is the key component of RFID system is very important. At the same time we should consider the issues of miniaturization, broadband and multi-frequency compatibility in the design of antenna. Besides, with the development of electromagnetic technology, electromagnetic radiation is becoming significant. RFID system bring people many convenient, there are certain electromagnetic radiation at the same time, so it is imperative to study on the health effects of electromagnetic radiationThe theory of electromagnetic field and RFID technology are combined in this paper and some exploring work for research on RFID tag antenna design and RFID application is done. The main work and innovation points include:First, the books and literature about the theory of antenna and electromagnetic field are read comprehensively and systematically, the theory is combined with RFID technology and the theoretical basis needed in analyzing antenna and radiation field is compiled.Second, this paper makes a deep research in RFID and tap antenna.Third, researched how to realize miniaturization for antenna. this paper systematically studies methods for impedance matching between RFID tag antenna sand tags ICs, which includes parasitical element loading and meander line loading technology. This paper applies the fractal theory to RFID tag antennas, and validate that RFID tag antennas in fractal structures own a good size-reducing feature.Fourth, this Paper designed the tag antenna working on UHF and compared various kinds of tag antenna. Besides simulate the health effects of electromagnetic radiation caused by the tag antenna.
